This decision comes after mounting scrutiny over the former prince's links to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, including the release of a memoir by Virginia Giuffre.

Giuffre claimed that she was sexually abused by the former prince after being brought by Jeffrey Epstein, claims that Mountbatten Windsor has consistently strenuously denied.
